For the third year in a row, the KNFB Reader received a Golden Apple Award from, being elected as Best Assistive iOS app of 2016! is a community-powered website for blind and low-vision users of Apple's range of Mac computers, the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and the Apple TV.

Also in 2014 and 2015, the KNFB Reader has been awarded the Golden Apple as Best Assistive iOS app.

Now available : version 2.7, bringing new languagues

KNFB Reader 2.7 for iOS and for Android devices is now available with Russian as text recognition and user interface language, and with Bulgarian, Czech, Estonian, Greek and Ukrainian as additional text recognition languages.

KNFB Reader is our print to speech application for iOS and Android, specially designed for blind and visually impaired persons.

In a comparative test of apps for the visually impaired of the German consumer organisation Stiftung Warentest the KNFB Reader is praised as the only app obtaining the result 'high' in all aspects of the test.

Sensotec exclusive dealer for Swedish LVI

Low Vision InternationalSensotec expands its product range for visual impaired people with MagniLink video magnifiers and reading machines and becomes exclusive dealer in Belgium for LVI, starting from 15 February.

LVI’s catalog includes a range of devices that can be tailored specifically to the visually impaired customer. These devices offer both the classic image magnification with adaptable contrasts as well as a reliable reading function. The video magnifiers and reading machines are developed and produced by LVI - Low Vision International in Sweden under the trademark MagniLink.

The MagniLink dealership in Belgium includes sales, installation and support of the devices by Sensotec.
